Chris Happ

Chris is the Vice President of Business Development at Plaza Street Partners where he manages the strategy and growth of new business relationships for PSP’s new-build and acquisition solutions.

As an experienced service-industry veteran, Chris has an established track record of delivering customized, long-term value to corporate partners of all sizes. Prior to Plaza Street Partners, Chris designed a ground-up business development strategy for Capfusion, LLC, a leading commercial lender in the financial technology industry. That program delivered best-in-class white-space solutions for the two largest loan marketplace platforms in the industry. The associated growth was instrumental in securing a successful institutional capital raise of $20M in 2016. Chris’s passion for relationship building and corporate business development is rooted in 10+ years as an award-winning Class A PGA Professional in Illinois and Kansas.

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri, where he was also a co-captain and MVP of the Men’s Golf team.

Chris and his wife, Sarah, live in Leawood, KS, where their two children, Griffin and Hallie, along with a four-legged co-conspirator named Ginger, fill the family calendar with activities and sports including dance, soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball and golf.
